About us
Renting should reward the people who pay on time.
In New York, roughly one in five adults is "credit-invisible" or thin-file — newcomers, students, cash earners, and people rebuilding. They pay their rent on time for years, and it counts for nothing when they apply for the next apartment. Meanwhile they re-upload the same pay stubs and bank screenshots for every listing, and pay an application fee each time.
We built CertRent to fix that. Instead of proving yourself from scratch to every landlord, you build one verified profile — your identity, your bank-confirmed rent history, your income, and references from landlords we check actually own the building — and share it with anyone, for free. Landlords get facts they can trust instead of a stack of documents. You keep control of your own record.
Our promise: we won't fake it
A lot of this industry runs on inflated numbers and borrowed reviews. We won't. You won't find fabricated user counts or invented testimonials on this site, and we'll always tell you the truth about what rent reporting can and can't do for your credit — even when a smaller claim is less flashy. Trust is the entire product; we're not going to cut corners on it.
Who's behind CertRent
CertRent is operated by InspireBlooms Inc., a New York company. We're a small, independent team building this in the open, starting with our own city. If you have feedback, a hard question, or you just want to know how something works, we read every message.
