About CertRent in Dallas-Fort Worth
We started in New York City, expanded to Los Angeles, and have now launched in Dallas-Fort Worth, covering both Dallas and Tarrant County. Each market gets the same core platform, but the legal content is written fresh for that state's actual law — Texas Property Code rules are genuinely different from New York and California statutes, so our Texas guides, templates, and calculators are authored specifically for Texas, not translated from another market.
Free for renters, free for landlords
Building and sharing a CertRent profile costs nothing for renters. Receiving and reviewing a verified profile costs nothing for landlords and property managers. We built it this way because the value of a verified profile only works if both sides actually use it — a paywall on either end defeats the point.

We grow one metro at a time so the legal content behind every guide and template is genuinely accurate for that place, not a generic national summary.
